Celebrating excellence within the WA Music Community

The Western Australian Music Awards are prestigious, long-running annual awards that aim to recognise the achievements of WA artists and industry.

Highly-regarded across Australia, the awards serve as a promotional tool for introducing audiences to the year’s most exciting and outstanding music and the people that create it.

WA Music Award nominations will be opening at WAMCon, the 14th of August 2026, and run until the 1st of February, 2027. 

We are having our nominations period open for an extended period of time to allow for the achievements of all artists to be recognised over the year, as opposed to just the achievements closest to the awards period. Artists are encourage to nominate themselves and recognise their own successes within the industry.
