Triple j are giving artists on Unearthed the chance to join the line-up and perform at Laneway Festival 2026. One local act will be chosen for each Australian location (Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth).
You’ll be sharing the stage with some of the biggest names around. We’re talking Chappell Roan, PinkPantheress, Wolf Alice, Wet Leg, BENEE, Alex G, Lucy Dacus, The Dare and heaps more. All you’ve got to do, is keep doing what you do best… upload your music to Unearthed!

Comp open period: 8.00 am AEDT, Monday 27 October 2025 Ends: 11:59 pm AEST, Sunday 23 November 2025
How to enter: Make sure you have music uploaded to www.abc.net.au/triplejunearthed/ before the competition closes. Even if a song was uploaded prior to the competition open date, the artist is still eligible for entry.
Eligibility: All artists from New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, Victoria and South Australia with music uploaded before the competition closes will be eligible. An entrant’s residential postcode will determine whether an entrant is eligible for the Local prize.
