– Album The Suite – released Wed March 19th
– The Suite Launch at Ellington Jazz Club – Fri March 21st

When LUCI’s first live-tracked jazz single Dijon was nominated for WAM Jazz Song of the Year in 2023, it became clear to the group that despite successful vocal collaboration; the quintet alone has what it takes to create compositions that hit hard. LUCI has a distinctive live sound drawing influence from funk, jazz and hip-hop, drawing inspiration of Vulfpeck, BADBADNOTGOOD and Ezra Collective.

Recorded in its entirety over a single weekend in July 2024, The Suite is a 10-track, 30 minute cohesive adventure with dynamic peaks and valleys. The album showcases what LUCI values most: enjoying the moment – expressed through live, on-air musical communication.
Since their formation in 2020, LUCI has:

– released 9 singles, 8 of which with vocal collaborations
– performed with multiple feature vocalists for their live shows, including in City of Fremantle and City of Joondalup festivals, Beerfarm Festival in Margaret River and Balmy Nights Festival in Esperance.
– completed a 4000km regional tour of WA in 2024 (Karratha, Exmouth, Scarborough, Bunbury,
