What is ‘Healthway Feel It Write It’ ?

Healthway and WAM are working together to support the social and emotional wellbeing of young people through the arts. The partnership draws on SEW–Arts—an arts‑driven framework developed by The Kids Research Institute Australia and funded by Healthway—to help build confidence, connection and resilience.

SEW-Arts focuses on four key areas of wellbeing: Tuning In (self-awareness and regulation), Feeling (emotional expression and safety), Connecting (relationships, culture, and belonging), and Discovering (confidence, identity, and agency). The SEW-Arts Framework was co-designed with artists, educators, health professionals, and Aboriginal communities, supporting culturally responsive, strengths-based approaches that can be applied across diverse arts, education, and community settings.
