This morning our CEO attended a press conference where the State Government released consultation on the new Perth Entertainment and Sporting Precinct, including a new 15-20,000 outdoor live music venue being built in Burswood Park.
WAM welcomes the new venue and will be advocating that the venue should incorporate incentives for local artists to be booked as supports for touring acts, ensuring additional exposure and income generation for our local music senses.
We urge our supporters to engage in the consultation process to propose initiatives and incentives that will build on the venue to support our local music scene.
