Perfect Pitch Publishing is excited to announce an exclusive global licensing agreement with Reuben De Melo, the winner of The Voice Australia 2024. In a full-circle moment, we are also proud to represent Reuben’s musical and life partner, Olivia De Melo.

Reuben De Melo, an Australian indie-folk singer-songwriter, captured the nation’s attention when he triumphed in the 13th season of The Voice Australia on October 27, 2024. Mentored by the iconic LeAnn Rimes, Reuben took home $100,000, an industry recording development package, and a coveted music masterclass. His journey began in 2018 with the release of his debut EP, Consumed, and continued with the release of multiple singles, including his 2020 breakout hit “Sweet Oblivion,” which has racked up more than 4.5 million streams on Spotify.
In 2024, Reuben wowed audiences with his powerful performance of “I See Fire” during the blind auditions, earning all four coaches—Guy Sebastian, LeAnn Rimes, Kate Miller-Heidke, and Adam Lambert—to turn their chairs. Lambert described Reuben as a “diamond in the rough,” while Miller-Heidke predicted he had what it takes to win The Voice.
Reuben’s victory on October 27, 2024, was confirmed by the overwhelming support from viewers, he now joins Perfect Pitch Publishing’s growing roster of Western Australian writer/artists which include Gina Williams & Guy Ghouse, Olivia De Melo, Joan & the Giants, Sophian, Boox Kid, No Charisma, Brendon Darby, Grace Barbe, Vdelli, Xtortya, Rupert John, and Duende Indalo.
