Recognising the people, acts and organisations that have significantly shaped WA's fine music history.

The Hall of Fame recognises those members of the industry who have made an outstanding contribution to WA contemporary music over their career. Various WAM Awards of similar focus acknowledged this before the WAM Hall of Fame awards officially came into being in 2004. It is an award judged both by WAM (in fact the only award we have any input into) and the industry members’ peers. Hall Of Famers traditionally are inducted as part of the WA Music Awards ceremony.
