WA acts at Canadian Music Week

With a focus on Australian acts this year, Canadian Music Week is seeing three WA acts showcasing their wares over the next few days –  Japanese Tongue Sisters, Shameem and The Love Junkies all set to rep at this huge conference and live showcase event. Stay tuned to WAM’s Twitter and social media to keep up-to-date with some of the highlights etc over the course of the week, with WAM having created a relationship with someone over there to assist in getting the acts improved opportunities and exposure (including this story highlighting The Love Junkies as an act to catch).

Now in its 33rd year, Canadian Music Week is recognized as one of the premier entertainment events in North America focusing on the business of music. They bring together Sound Recording, New Media and Broadcast for one spectacular week of events… Combining informative, intensive conferences, a cutting edge trade exhibition, award shows, film festival, comedy festival and Canada’s biggest New Music Festival. The Canadian Music Week festival spans 10 nights of performances, with 1,000 showcasing bands at more than 60 live music venues in downtown Toronto.
