The Corner Gallery Creative Conference – Second Week of events!

The Corner Gallery have announced the addition of a second week of programming to their Creative Conference held between Wednesday 12 February – Friday 21 February 2020.

The Corner Gallery’s Creative Conference, now a six night event, aims to provides an affordable opportunity for young artists, musicians and creatives to gain valuable knowledge, inspiration and to connect with industry professionals, like minded peers and potential collaborators. Each evening will feature three speakers curated to different fields in the Industry sharing their work, advice and experiences during the development of their career. The Corner Gallery aims to create a friendly & inclusive environment, and facilitate an evening that motivates and inspires both the attendees and speakers.

The reveal includes the addition of Artist Manager Kelsie Miller (Across the Road Music), Promoter, Booking agent and Mojo’s Bar owner Andrew Ryan (Cool Perth Nights), plus a Cultural and Gender Diversity panel hosted by Em Burrows (musician, Girls Rock! WA Coordinator, WAM Audience Development Officer). The program already features speakers from the areas of photography, film, event programming and media, including Alex Paaioff (Pilerats/Made In The Pile), Dave Chitty (Sunset Events, Freo Social) and Luna Laure and Matt Sav (Photography & videography for Jack River, Pond, Tame Impala.

In addition to the event, the Gallery will be showing the ’20twenty Fire Relief’ exhibition featuring the works of over 20 WA Artists. 50% of sales from all works, plus $10 from each week two Creative Conference ticket will be donated towards Bushfire Relief.
