Perth’s new live music venue: The Basso Music Bar

10 Jun

The recent losses of Perth’s music venues has been a hard blow for our music scene, and there is no doubt that The Bakery, YaYa’s and Devilles will be massively missed. Yet there’s been good news following, with Jimmy’s Den providing a great addition, and The Sewing Room looking good to open in the not too distant future (fingers crossed). To add to this, there’s a new kid in town; please say hello to Perth’s new live music venue The Bassendean Music Bar, or The Basso!

Big Tommo Presents will now be taking bookings at the new and improved Basso Music Bar located at 25 Old Perth Road Bassendean – only one minute walk from the train station and with a huge car park and entry way separate to the rest of the venue. To book a night, please email Tom Mantle at [email protected].

After giving a gorgeous heritage listed pub a face lift, the venue’s new owners are keen to get behind promoting live music and art in Perth. To celebrate the grand opening they are throwing a launch party¬† Friday 19 June, with Russel Thompson, The Durongs, Max & The Electric, Legs Electric & Boys Boys Boys all helping the new venue launch in style!
