Now open: Fairbridge Festival Quest Youth Song-Writing Competition

The Act-Belong-Commit Fairbridge Festival Quest Youth Song-Writing competition is now open, and the winner will be rewarded with a great swag of prizes including some from WAM!

Now in its sixth year, the folk, world and roots music original song-writing competition for young West Australians is back in 2017 with four chances to win:
Creative categories:
SONG: CRAFT
SONG: PERFORMANCE
Age categories:
12–15 years
16–18 years.

The winner in each of the four categories will receive:

Fairbridge Festival live performance (Saturday 22 April)
John Butler Studio recording session voucher
HK Photography professional photoshoot
ProCopy CD copying voucher
Free WAM Song of the Year entries
WAMCon 2017 ticket
Post-final mentoring session from WAM
Opportunity of Perfect Pitch publishing deal

Entries must be original material and be received by 5 pm, 3 March 2017.
