New Noise Collective Library Sessions | Round Two Kicks Off!

21 Nov

After the resounding success of the first instalment of New Noise Collective’s Library Sessions, we’re excited to announce Round 2 has kicked off!

Led by a small group of passionate music lovers (aged 16-20), the New Noise Collective presented by Act-Belong-Commit was brought together by WAM to develop and implement practical ideas to strengthen WA’s youth music scene, including organising and promoting events that help connect young crowds with emerging local acts. Library Sessions is a collection of all ages, free entry live gigs held monthly in the nook of the State Library of Western Australia. Featuring acts across multiple genres and age brackets, the gigs provide an opportunity for people young and old to enjoy live music in a safe and welcoming environment whilst activating spaces within the Perth cityscape.

The first Library Sessions of this series was held on Saturday November 9 and featuring performances by Sam Rocchi and Odette Mercy Trio. Head HERE to see the photos!
