New live music venue Tetsuo opens

5 Apr

Tetsuo officially opened its doors on Friday 31 March, 2017. Located at the top end of William Street, the new nightclub come live music venue is a short walk from central Northbridge. While the space has had many names before, Tetsuo adds distinctly exciting flavours to Northbridge’s musical offerings.

Tetsuo is comprised of two rooms, the Main Room and the Boiler Room. Both are equipped with bars, stages for live music and an array of unique and interactive authentic Japanese décor. Tetsuo is not genre specific and will open its stages up to a wide range of talented acts from across Perth and Australia.

Take a glimpse inside to feast your eyes on the whimsical post-apocalyptic creation that has evolved. Imagine the last time the world waited with baited breath for the end – the 90s. Technology was at the forefront of a new culture, which meant for the first time ever, the West finally had access to the wildly weird and wonderful creations coming from Japan. Step back in time and experience the ’90s Japanese grunge culture that is Tetsuo.
