There’s constantly a heap of sweet new tunes coming out of WA, and LaunchPad is here to fill you in on the latest single, video, EP and album launches from local acts of all genres over the next fortnight, and beyond…


► Punk rockers Last Quokka and garage pop band Boat Show are both releasing their singles at Mojo’s Bar Tuesday 14 February, supported by  Rag N’ Bone, Regular Boys And Terrible Signal (Solo). moreinfo

► Recently returning from Nashville, Telstra Road To Discovery winner Helen Shanahan is back to launch her single at Villanova Music Wednesday 15 February, with special guest Timothy Nelson. moreinfo

After five years since the last album, folkster Carus Thompson and his full band release a new album at Mojo’s Bar Friday 17 February, with Nathan Gaunt opening. moreinfo

► Past WAM  Song Of The Year nominated starlet Sydnee Carter will be hitting up Hyperfest on Saturday 18 February to launch her new single When We Were Young from her up and coming second EP Sticks and Stones, with a ridiculously large line-up surrounding!  moreinfo

Perth indie/electronic band Our Man In Berlin will launch their next single at Bandlands Bar Saturday 18 February, supported by These Winter Nights, Dear Creature and Big Orange.moreinfo

Hitting Badlands Bar Friday 3 March for their single launch for new track Gurzle will be local rockers Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, supported by The Weapon Is Sound, Western Kinsmen Of The Sun and Demon Days.
