Hope-ful residency

Cat Hope has been announced as winning the prestigious Peggy Glanville-Hicks Residency,  the 19th recipient of this honour. Hope is a composer, sound artist, writer, performer, songwriter, artistic director and noise artist who has also been recognized for her impressive contribution to the contemporary music scene with many other awards. The residency sees her residing in Sydney, where she is working on projects such as commissions for pianist Zubin Kanga, percussionist Vanessa Tomlinson and the development of a new ‘noise opera’ with fellow WA innovator Jack Sargent.
