Get your entries in for a chance to perform live at WA Day Fesitval!

20 May

Do you have a great voice? Not too shabby with the guitar? Maybe you’re keen to perform live on stage at this year’s massive WA Day Festival, which leads on that same day to the WAM-curated, Celebrate WA-presented SOTA Fest? Then this is the opportunity for you!

As part of WA Day Festival 2016, taking place Monday 6 June (same public holiday day as the State Of The Art music festival),  the search for WA’s finest live, unsigned and unplugged acoustic musos happens with MATSO’s Raw Live & Unplugged. Entries are now open, with all finalists snagging themselves the opportunity to perform live on the Main Stage at WA Day Festival. With the FREE State Of The Art Festival also taking place on the Main Stage at Elizabeth Quay later that day, it’s a great opportunity to rub shoulders with the best of WA music – including Jebediah, San Cisco, Ta-ku and many more! Finalists will battle it out in rounds, with judges deciding the overall winner to be crowned Perth’s Best New Acoustic Act. The winner will also walk away with a trip for two to Broome!

If you think you’ve got what it takes, don’t dilly-dally – get your entries in now. You’ll need to:

  • Send your music video / Youtube link to [email protected]
  • You can sing either covers or originals
  • Two songs will be required on the day
  • For more information call Jeneen on 0400 567 890
