Free DVD giveaways of Something In The Water

13 Mar

How could one of the most isolated cities in the world have exploded with so many successful bands? 2008 documentary Something In The Water helped reveal the Australian music phenomenon that is music in WA. Across decades and genres, Something In The Water explores what was responsible for the sparkling talent pool.

The documentary features live performances, interviews and archival footage of WA bands across time, exploring the history and environment behind the very unique source of live original music.

Described as “Informative, insightful and fun…an essential rock doc!” from Triple J’s Caroline Tran, the documentary includes a bonus two hours of extended interviews with members of Inxs, The Scientists, The Triffids, Eskimo Joe, John Butler, Gyroscope, and more.

With thanks to the WBMC Film Company, WAM is giving away free copies of the DVD to the first 50 people to come into the WAM office during office hours 10am-5pm Monday to Friday.
