Recognising the ongoing importance of safety and inclusivity in the WA music community, WAM is facilitating a Safety in Music panel and Q&A session to inform and provide members of the WA music community the skills to report and combat harassment, discrimination, and assault.

Moderated by award-winning journalist and interviewer Meri Fatin (ABC, RTRFM 92.1), the one-hour session will include insights from harassment and discrimination legal expert, Joanne Alilovic (3D HR Legal), Sgt Karen Thomas (WA Police), Kabir Ramasary (Director/General Manager, The Bird), musician and retired Forensic Psychology Lecturer, Greg Dear, and singer songwriter, Toby Beard.

The panel is free to attend and open to artists, industry practitioners, music business owners and music fans. Please note the session will not feature a Q&A with audience members. If you have specific questions or areas you wish to be explored at the session, please contact WAM Industry Development Officer at claire@wam.org.au.
