Friday 7 Nov: 7:30-midnight, The Civic Hotel, Inglewood
Cutting the metal knife through a huge cross-section of heavy tastes, Stormrider brings you the best in local power, thrash, traditional and progressive sounds in a new-fangled night of hardcore rockin’ from fave local nobles Claim The Throne, Silent Knight, Cold Fate, Tempest Rising and Drown The Faith to celebrate the launch of their new CD compilation.
BLOOD ROCK FEST
Saturday 8 Nov: 7pm-1am, Rosemount Hotel, North Perth
Catch over 20 bloody rockers in an epic showcase of punk, hardcore, heavy and even acoustic sounds from the likes of touring acts Dead City Ruins, Ben David and Child, who will be joined by local legends Chainsaw Hookers, Billings Method (reunion), Flowermouth, Nevsky Prospekt, The Bob Gordons, Blackwitch, Emu Xperts and many more spread over two stages!
ELLINGTON JAZZ SHOWCASE
Saturday 8 Nov: 7pm-1am, The Ellington Jazz Club
This year the WAM Festival teams up with Perth’s favourite jazz venue to present you with The Ellington Jazz Showcase, bringing you some of the finest jazz artists this vibrant music scene in WA has to offer. The Ellington Jazz showcase will feature a performance from critically acclaimed ex WAAPA student and now world conquering artist, Sarah McKenzie, who will be accompanied by a selection of Perth’s finest jazz talent to promote her new release on ABC. A not-to-be-missed event for all music enthusiasts, whether you’re a jazz expert or simply curious.

Saturday 8 Nov: 7pm-1am, The Bakery
If hip hop’s yo’ game then it’s time to get down to this showcase of some of best rappers and beat producers this city harbors. Putting the Syllabolix crew front and centre, catch Dazastah, Layla and Porsah Laine, plus Sound Magnetiks members Bryte and Chekid and many more!
