WAM acts as a trusted advisor to government at all levels and has input regarding where funding may be allocated. The Music Council was formed in 2013 to collect feedback from the industry on how it can best be spent so we can advocate and advise in ways that maximise opportunities and growth in the music industry. It is comprised of leaders of the WA music industry, chosen for their skills and experience as artists, or their senior roles in music businesses and organisations.
