Occupational Therapy students at Curtin University are completing a research project exploring the impact of performing and/or creating music on the health and wellbeing of young musicians aged 18 to 25 living in Australia.

Curtin welcomes people to participate if:

  • you are 18 – 25 years of age
  • you are currently playing or creating music: For the purpose of this study, ‘performing’ is defined as playing music during a live performance and ‘creating’ is defined as writing or recording new music.

The research has two parts:

1. Firstly, you will complete an online survey – which should take approximately 10-15 minutes
2. then if you are willing, the students would appreciate the opportunity to interview you for approximately 30 minutes within 3-6 weeks following the completion of the survey.
