WAMFest Headed to Scarborough for Scarbs Beach Party

7 Oct

This year sees WAMFest presented by Act-Belong-Commit team up with City of Stirling for a brand new, free entry, all-ages event in the sea-side suburb of Scarborough. Inspired by the long-running melting pot of musical talent and live music venues in the area, the Scarbs Beach Party continues the WAMFest goal of showcasing and celebrating local contemporary musicians with the broader community.

Set to take over the beach on Sunday 13 October from midday until late, the free entry event will celebrate everything this buzzing suburb has to offer, with four stages jam-packed with the best local acts, market stalls and food trucks to keep your energy up. Feel the sand between your toes at the all-ages outdoor Scarborough Beach Amphitheatre stage headlined by the legendary Grace Barbé, Steve Hensby Band, Flossy and more, or head to The Livid Café to join their legendary laneway party. No live music event in Scarbs would be complete without the iconic Indian Ocean Hotel and El Grotto! They’ll be continuing their long-running tradition of supporting local music hosting very special beach party line-ups throughout the afternoon and evening.

Gather your friends, head on down, and join the community in celebrating the local music talent in Scarbs!
