A lot happens in two weeks in the local music world, but luckily WAM is here to remind you of a few highlights for local artists doing mint things;

With a heap of WA Music Awards to their credit, congrats to The Love Junkies who have been selected to showcase at SxSW, but they need a helping hand to get them over there. More info on Tone Deaf.

With WA acts often looked over in their lists, tops to see Thee Gold Blooms and Coin Banks appearing in FasterLouder‘s 15 Future Legends Of 2015 list.

With the Song Of The Year nominees to be announced next week, tops to see 2013’s Grand Prize winner Mathas showing his skills in RTRFM’s View From Here series. Watch it here.

With his new track with Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker, Daffodils, doing finely on radio stations around the world, Mark Ronson has been sharing his love for our local star. More info in The Guardian.
