WAMedia Watch: WA good music news rounded up

A lot happens in two weeks in the local music world, but luckily WAM is here to remind you of a few highlights for local artists doing mint things;

Legendary rockers Birds Of Tokyo have released their latest track Anchor which debuted on triple j earlier this week ahead of their performance headline performance at the State of the Art (SOTA) Festival. More info here.

With Sounds Of The Pilbara launching this week, it’s great to see Gina WilliamsABC feature surrounding her fusion of music and the Indigenous language. More info here.

WAM Song Of The Year Award performers Lilt have landed themselves a winning spot for this year’s triple j Unearthed NIDA music video competition for their atmospheric track Don’t Tell Me. More info here.

Multi-talented singer-songwriter Morgan Bain shared his tips on how to write award-winning songs with Scenestr, and trust us you will be surprised by what he has to say including hot drinks and food were crucial little helpers on his road to success. More info here.
