WAMEDIA WATCH: News from Nicholas Allbrook, Mosquito Coast, Tame Impala & more

A lot happens in two weeks in the local music world, but luckily WAM is here to remind you of a few highlights for WA artists doing mint things;

 

Tame Impala’s epiphany pop sound have been nominated for UK Music Video Awards with Let It Happen for Best Rock/Indie Video – International category. More info here.

Following this, Tame Impala has been nominated for six ARIAs, and already picked up two, as reported by The West Australian. More info here.

Indie/Rock duo Mosquito Coast and the winners of this year’s Unearthed High have released new music and is now available for free download on their Unearthed profile. More info here.

As picked by Tone Deaf, the new Good Company Records located in Subiaco has been selected as one of the “12 Aussie Record Stores You Need To Add To Your Bucket List” with specialty orders and an instore and online catalogue. More info here.

Hhhhappy has pointed out of Nicholas Allbrook‘s new EP Walrus, “What is important is to sense the creator’s genius.” More info here.
