A lot happens in two weeks in the local music world, but luckily WAM is here to remind you of a few highlights for local artists doing mint things;

Perth’s own rockers Tired Lion have been added to the stellar Splendour In The Grass line up after winning triple j Unearthed‘s national competition. More info here.

Local hero Kevin Parker from Tame Impala opened up to theMusic.com.au regarding the saga which saw BMG make allegations against Modular Recording‘s founder Stephen Pavlovic over missing royalties, speculated to be close to a million dollars. More info here.

Legendary Perth indie pop rocker Jebediah are celebrating their 20th birthday by embarking on a national tour, with Tone Deaf providing a good read on their history. More info here.

Rock punk vocalist Will Ferrier, front man of Perth’s  Will Stoker & The Embers, has been confirmed as a contestant in the next series of The Bachelorette Australia. More info here.

Locals KUČKA, Catlips and Methyl Ethel have made it into AMRAP‘s top ten tracks ordered for airplay by metropolitan community broadcasters. More info here.
