A lot happens in two weeks in the local music world, but luckily WAM is here to remind you of a few highlights for WA artists doing mint things;


APRA AMCOS have announced the nominees for their Music Awards. WA nominees include; Birds of TokyoTame Impala and Ruby Boots. More info here.

Perth-born glam rockers Sisters Doll made it to the Australia’s Got Talent Grand Final. More info here. have celebrated WA’s best Like A Version performances; Methyl Ethel, Tired Lion, Eskimo Joe, San Cisco, Tame Impala, Jebediah, Adam James, Abbe May, Birds of Tokyo and Karnivool. More info here.

WAM Song Of The Year nominees and Perth-based duo Safe Sex are the triple j Unearthed Feature Artist of the week. More info here.
