New board appointment sees WAM move from strength to strength

WAM is excited to welcome Duncan MacKintosh of Entrust Wealth Management to the WAM Board. With his extensive financial market knowledge and valuable corporate connections, Duncan will be an incredible asset to the WAM board.

Duncan is the Director and Senior Investment Advisor of WA based Entrust Wealth Management, which manages around $1.1bn of investment funds for private clients, family offices and Not for Profit organisations. Duncan has over 20 years of financial market experience and having achieved the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, he brings significant financial and analytical skills to the Board as well as a network of valuable corporate connections. Duncan is also an accomplished musician with over 30 years of professional experience across Australia including playing bass for WA outfit 46 Brigade who released a new album Into the Great Unknown in 2020 to incredibly strong reviews. To anyone that knows him, Duncan’s passion and commitment to promoting WA music is obvious.

Duncan MacKintosh said of his appointment to the board, “Having a background as both an investment professional and active musician I am incredibly excited to contribute as a member of the WAM Board. WA has always punched far above its weight in contemporary music so I am looking forward to celebrating that rich history and using that as a foundation to support the diverse array of artists that carry on the tradition today.”
