There is an impressive $45,000 worth of prizes to be won across 16 categories, covering all ages, levels and genres. All category winners will walk away with $500 cash, studio time with WA’s best, WAMCon passes, and more – as well as a chance to take out the massive grand prize package (more info here).

The 16 categories will honour gifted WA songwriters from all genres such as Blues/Roots, Country, Electronic, Experimental, Folk, Jazz, Metal/Heavy, Punk/Hardcore, Pop, Rock, Urban/Hip Hop and World, plus extra categories for Schools (14 Years & Under), Schools (15-17), Outstanding Indigenous and Outstanding Regional.
