WA Talent Showcased on FREE WAM Stage at Blues at Bridgetown

With Blues at Bridgetown’s 25th Anniversary Edition now in clear sight, the third artist line-up announcement comes with news of a special partnership, signifying the excellence of WA music and its key presence in this festival through past, present and future.

WAM‘s proud to team up with Blues At Bridgetown to present an amazing array of WA artists, both familiar favourites and brand-new faces to our festival, performing for your pleasure and all-round good times on the FREE street festival WAM Stage.

Please welcome Rick Steele, Carus Thompson, Toby, Tom Fisher and the Layabouts, Jim Fisher and Friends, BB & Co, Dan Howls, Michael Triscari, Flamin’ Crows, Blackwood Rising, Billy Baxter Kentet, The Riders, Tracey Barnett, Short & Curly, Mary Myfanwy, Deb ‘Spoons’ Perry, Perth Blues Club, South West Blues Club, West Coast Blues Club and the Hills Blues Club to the Blues at Bridgetown line-up for 2017.

Blues at Bridgetown is an iconic West Australian festival and has become part of this state’s cultural fabric, this year boasting a huge line up celebrating its 25thanniversary,” says WAM Regional Officer, Nigel Bird. “WAM’s excited to partner with the festival, this year hosting a stage devoted to championing fantastic WA music. WAM is also grateful for Blues at Bridgetown’s support as a partner of the 2017 WAM Awards, officially presenting the ‘Best Blues / Roots Act’.”

These local luminaries join the previously-announced main festival acts Ian Moss, Ash Grunwald, Russell Morris, The Bondi Cigars, Blue Shaddy, Z-Star Delta, Lachy Doley, The Teskey Brothers, 19 Twenty, Little Georgia, Jan Preston, Luke Dux & Atomic Lunch Box, Andrew Winton, Moondog, Lightning Jack, Helen Townsend , Two Dollar Dog, Hussy Hicks, The Southern River Band, James Thomson & The Strange Pilgrims, Minnie Marks, Lez Karski Trio, The Doodaddies, Ten Cent Shooters, Zac Linton, Ralway Bell, Joel Barker and Martin Lee Cropper. Don’t forget that this year’s festival also includes the premiere of the Americana & Roots Stage, headlined by Adam Brand and Ash Grunwald.
