Vote to have David Hyams as PPCA artist representative, a voice for WA music

7 Feb

Longstanding WAM board member (including President from 2006–2008), David Hyams has been nominated for the PPCA Board as a 2017 and 2018 artist representative up against Josh Pyke. If he’s elected it will be a great opportunity for Western Australia to have a voice for WA music, helping to push local artists and the industry forward, and PPCA members can help get him voted in.

Nominated 8 times in the World category for the WAMAwards for his own act, David’s passion for developing the WA music industry has also seen him become a major contributor and advocate. Known for his work with a range of WA artists, including producing over 30 albums, and sideman to a number of international acts, as well as his extensive involvement in Australian community music projects remote and regional, the list goes on.

Voting closes 5pm Monday 20 February. All registered artists with the PPCA get to vote – which of course all serious artists should be PPCA members! Completed voting forms must be emailed to
