State Of The Art critics and punters applaud

5 Jun

Presented by Celebrate WA in partnership with WAM, last Saturday’s State Of The Art festival aka #SOTAFest 2015 was spectacularly good fun, and a poignant reminder of how vast WA’s pool of musical talent is. A huge thank you to the thousands who came down to celebrate WA music and were responsible for creating such an amazing vibe. The critics agreed as well, with some great media coverage as highlighted and linked below:

The West Australian review – “On Saturday’s showing, Mr Brandis is making a mistake and 8000 punters voted with their feet.”

X-Press Magazine review – “Northbridge was alive.”

TheMusic.com.au review – “Punters left still buzzing about their favourite acts from the day. If there was anything to take away from this night, it’s that you don’t have to go far to find some killer music – sometimes it’s right there in your own backyard.”

Australian Music Network review – “The vibe that you get just from walking around this place is an incredible feeling. It is one of inspiration, success and a passion for music that cannot be matched.”

Cool Perth Nights review - “Western Australia. Great teeth. Great tunes.”

Rotunda Media review - “I left with no regrets… and filled with pride that our little isolated city is awash with such a vast array of amazing bands and musicians who are as groundbreaking, inspiring, and influential as anyone around the world. And that really is something worth celebrating.
