Izzy Bartlett

Regional Assistant

Izzy Bartlett has recently returned from Meanjin/Brisbane, Queensland where she worked for Woodford Folk Festival’s regional touring music event The Festival of Small Halls. She’s worked as a contractor for many events within the arts industry across WA and QLD, including Fringe World Festival Perth, Bigsound Music Festival, Woodford Folk Festival and WAM’s events and programs.

Izzy holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Media & Communications and Sound Production from Murdoch University, and her Honours thesis is in Musicology from The University of Melbourne. Izzy started at WAM as an intern in 2016, where she became passionate about the people and music of regional WA and is very excited to be in the Regional Assistant role at WAM.

Izzy’s creativity outside of work is fostered through her film photography, the podcast she co-hosts, cooking and her trumpet.
