Sound Overload music comp crop 2

Sound Overload opens to acts aged 12-25

The City of Bayswater are looking for people between the ages of 12-25 to participate in the Sound Overload music competition in 2016.

The competition provides a opportunity for up and coming musicians to kick-start their career and perform in front of a live audience. For the first time, the competition is open to solo acts and bands. The overall winner receives 3 days of recording time as well as professional photo shoot, while the runner up receives two days of recording time and $500. The dates of the comp are:

Heat (at Baysie Youth Fest): Saturday 27 February 2016, 12pm-5pm (performance time to be advised) at Bayswater Waves

Final (at Autumn River Festival): Sunday 3 April 2016, 1:30pm – 4pm at Riverside Gardens, Bayswater

Applications close Friday 5 February 2016.
