SAE & The Rosie looking for acts to rehearse/record

7 Jun

SAE Perth are looking for bands to play at both The Rosemount main stage and 459 Bar for the live sound students. This opportunity exists as audio students at SAE can now get hands-on training at some of Perth’s most popular live music venues thanks to a new partnership with The Rosemount Hotel. This partnership will offer students a unique, internationally-accredited qualification through hands-on training at an array of shows for local acts, meaning that students will advance their theoretical knowledge of sound mixing and operations across studio, outside broadcast and live environments.

SAE will be offering a free band rehearsal through the venue’s PA system, as well as a recording/mix of your performance. Any type of bands from any genres are welcome, however they will need at least 20 minutes of material to play. The classes are on Tuesday mornings over the next month or so, and bands can choose two different dates; one in the main room, and one in the 459 Bar.

The friendly staff at SAE would love to hear from you! If your band is interested to book a spot, please get in touch with SAE’s Live Sound Facilitator Ben Morris for more information.
