Phil Walley-Stack’s new single pushes anti-bullying message

18 Oct

Ahead of his upcoming performance at the WAMAwards, Best Indigenous Act nominee Phil Walley-Stack has released his new single “Man of Culture,” with a strong personal message.

An accomplished international musician whose music transcends race, age and gender,  Phil Walley-Stack’s new song comes complete with a music video and the song aims to raise awareness and funds for Kidzucate, an ATO Harm Prevention Charity that assists children and their families. For Phil, the motivation for “Man of Culture” came from a personal experience where he was refused entry into a venue because of his aboriginality. The song talks about survival, resilience and persistence.

Phil will be donating part proceeds from the song to Kidzucate to raise funds and awareness for the anti-bullying cause, then Phil will perform at the WAMAwards Party on Thursday 3 November along with Lucy Peach, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets and many more.
