Vulture Photography
is currently scouting for Perth music acts to feature in an up coming photography exhibit designed to promote our local music scene. This is a great opportunity to get some free exposure for your band whilst supporting a local artist.

BUSKING OPPS IN SUBIACO
Would you like to showcase your talents in the Subiaco Town Centre? Why not apply to do some busking!
 This could be a great way to develop your confidence and skills in performance, while earning yourself some extra cash. 

You can easily adapt your busking hours to be flexible and fit around your existing work or study commitments. There is no cost for an application to busk within the City of Subiaco, however all street entertainers must apply for a permit and make sure to remain within the guidelines. WIDE OPEN SPACE FESTIVAL
Heading into its 8th year, Wide Open Space Festival have announced that applications for music and arts performances and for volunteers are now open. The festival is three days of music, arts and culture held at Ross River Resort (80km east of Alice Springs). It’s eclectic and isolated, unique and community-orientated and it brings close to 2000 people to the desert to celebrate incredible landscape, music, stories and creativity.

WA YOUTH JAZZ ORCHESTRA AUDITIONS
WA Youth Jazz Orchestra (WAYJO)
are giving their 2016 cohort the opportunity to participate in a masterclass with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra as part of the Perth International Arts Festival. Audition applications are now live and will take place on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December. WAYJO is widely regarded as Australia’s leading youth jazz orchestra for more than 30 years and have been providing inspiration and opportunity to outstanding young jazz musicians from Western Australia.

SOCIAL MEDIA FOR FRINGE WORLD WORKSHOP
The Social Media for Fringe World Workshop will teach you how to use social media to ensure your digital marketing reaches the right audiences. Presenters Delilah and Melanie from Do Re Media will share their tips and tricks for creating a great campaign on Facebook and Instagram to maximise attendances with online buzz around your show. The workshop will be held on Tuesday 8 December at the Blue Room Theatre.

CATALYST AUSTRALIAN ARTS AND CULTURE FUND
Catalyst
– formerly known as the National Program for Excellence in the Arts – will provide funding of $12 million each year to small, medium and large arts organisations at a national, regional and community level and restores $8 million per year to the Australia Council to primarily support small to medium organisations. Applications are now open to help in funding your Arts organisation.

REGIONAL AND REMOTE TOURING FUND

Applications to the new Regional & Remote Touring Fund (RRTF) are still open, a call for performing arts organisations or artists with a ‘tour ready’ show and can demonstrate support from a minimum of two regional presenters, venues, or communities in regional WA.
