AMP’S TOMORROW FUND
Once again AMP are offering $1 million in grants to amazing Australians doing great things – including musicians and other artists. Now in its third year, this unique grants program is open to individuals of all ages, walks of life, interests and abilities. So far they’ve supported 89 individuals, including an opera singer, songwriters and a piano prodigy.

BIGSOUND 2016 ARTIST APPLICATIONS OPEN
One of Australia’s biggest music conference and festivities are now taking artist applications to be apart of BIGSOUND 2016, alongside delegate passes being available for purchase. Last year had a record number of WA acts selected to showcase, so here’s to an even bigger 2016!

FREMANTLE FESTIVAL 2016 – ARTIST FUNDING
In 2016, the Fremantle Festival continues to provide funding for community organisations and artists wishing to present projects at any time of the year in Fremantle through their Community Development funding program.

SEARCH IS ON FOR THE 2016 BUSH BANDS
The biggest celebration of Indigenous music in Central Australia is calling for applications to perform in front of thousands at the 14th annual Bush Bands Bash concert and gain invaluable skills and mentoring at the three-day Bush Bands Business skills development camp in Alice Springs in August.

WINTER ARTS FESTIVAL 2016
Registrations for the Winter Arts Festival 2016 are now open. The City of Perth’s Winter Arts Festival is a three-month program that runs from 1 June to 31 August and includes arts and cultural events taking place within City of Perth boundaries. Arts organisations and artists can submit your events happening during this time to be part of the program. Events span the genres of theatre, cabaret, comedy, dance, music, visual arts, film and literature. Registrations are due 18 April at 5pm.

The Pirate88 2016 Track of the Year song contest is open! There are five categories to choose from, including Fremantle, Western Australia, Youth-Global, Australia, and the World.. Applications close 31 October.

THE BIG SPLASH ENTRIES OPEN
Entries are now open for The Big Splash Comp. This will be the fourth year of The Big Splash Comp and $10,000 is up for grabs for the winning band – courtesy of Perth’s number one rock and roll philanthropist, Maria Floride. Entries close 20 May.

DCA GRANTS PROGRAM
The new DCA Grants Program has just been announced, with changes now allowing for individuals, groups and arts organisations to apply for different types of funding in five categories including Creative Development, Commercial Development, Community Engagement, Aboriginal Arts, and Scholarship and Fellowships. DCA encourages all applicants to ensure their applications are in alignment with all criteria and to read all applicant resources.
