The National Campus Band Competition is celebrating 25 years in 2016. This year Tertiary Access Group (TAG) - a not-for-profit organisation representing University and TAFE associations across Australia – has revamped the competition to have greater focus on giving back to the music industry and supporting young bands, whilst completing their studies.

Campus heats are happening soon across all 4 major WA universities. State heats will be held at Four5Nine Bar on Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 August, with the WA State Final at The Rosemount on Friday 9 September, from 7pm.

The winner of the competition will join the esteemed company of WA’s own previous winners Eskimo Joe and Jebediah, plus receive a heap of prizes including $5,000 in cash. Prizes will also be given at heat and state finalist levels as well.
