The DMC World DJ Championships are coming back to Australia, this time to celebrate 30 years of turntablism. The Perth heat takes place on Friday 14 August at the Rocket Room, Northbridge, and nominations are still open for all turntablists who have the skills to win the bills.

The DCA‘s Creative Industries program supports projects that strategically develop the potential capacity both creatively and commercially for musicians and more. Funding deadlines are fast approaching for the following categories: Development – closes Thursday, 27 August; Distribution and Marketing – closes Thursday, 27 August;  Artflight – Closes last Tuesday of each month.
