Mama Kin Spender’s Call Out for Community Choirs!
Mama Kin Spender are on the call out for choirs all over Australia for their 2019 Sound Of Your Town Tour!
A while back, Mama Kin and Spender decided to join forces and become one. At the core of Mama Kin Spender’s project was the intention to tour around Australia, and to engage choirs everywhere they go. They want to sing with the unique voices of each place they visit and perform with local community choirs, for their own communities. Mama Kin Spender want to know more of you, have a shared experience and deepen their connection with every town they visit.
So they are putting the call out to YOU! Let them know if you want them to come to your town and perform in your town hall, they want to create a community event with YOU for YOUR community!
All you need is a community choir, or a desire to put one together. Their own choir master will guide you through the process as you spend around 6 weeks teaching your choir the parts. Then they will come to your town and do an extensive workshop/rehearsal, set up the local town hall, and make a little magic together!
