There’s constantly a heap of sweet new tunes coming out of WA, and LaunchPad is here to fill you in on the latest single, video, EP and album launches from local acts of all genres over the next fortnight…


► Pop-inclined six piece Ah Trees launch their latest single Chippy, supported by Shy Panther, Segue Safari and Leopard Lake at The Bird on Thursday 17 March. More info here.

► WAM Song of the Year nominee Tobacco Rat is the new solo project from producer/composer Jake Steele, who releases his Subsistence EP supported by Diger Rokwell and Atripat at The Bird on Friday 18 March. More info here.

► Previous WAMi winners and swamp rockers The Kill Devil Hills launch their fourth studio album, In On Under Near Water, supported by Rachael Dease & Band at the Fly By Night Musicians Club on Friday 18 March. More info here.

► Folkster Dylan McCoy launches his new EP Love Like That at The Odd Fellow on Friday 18 March, supported by Madeline and Stop The Georgians. More info here.

► Indi pop outfit Young Robin will launch their first EP Tether with support from Oakland, Great Gable, and Iceage Sugar at Jimmy’s Den on Friday 18 March. More info here.

► Psych rockers Psychedelic Porn Crumpets have their High Visceral album launch on Saturday 19 March at The Bird. Featuring support from Moistoyster and The Drools. More info here.

► Garage rockers Oh White Mare will launch their new single brand new single Outsiders on Saturday 19 March at the Boston, supported by Black Stone From The Sun, Beach Aunty, Buddy Phoenix and Michael Paolino. More info here.

► Gypsy punk rockers King Of The Travellers launch their new single Travel Away with support from Minnie Marks, The Southern River Band and Mossy Fog at Clancy’s Fish Pub on Saturday 19 March. More info here.
