WA’S BIGGEST GUIDE TO LOCAL LAUNCHES!!

There’s no better way to spend your weekend than by checking out some fresh local tunes! Here’s what’s coming up…

FRIDAY 27 July – THURSDAY 2 August

Be the first to come down and listen to the indie pop sounds of Carla Geneve at new Freo venue The Aardvark  on Friday 27 July, in support of her latest single ‘Listening’. Hip Hop Trio Poets Laureate are launching their album Dishwashin Deities at The Boston on Friday 27 July,  and are also hosting an open mic competition for those who can spit some bars. Don’t miss Tanya Harper’s sweet indie sounds at her video launch for The Well at Mojo’s Bar on Sunday 29 August. Or catch Priscilla’s launch celebrating their sophomore track Don’t You Realise? at The Bird on Thursday 2 August.

To launch their debut single MŪ will be rocking the stage at The Rosemount with Web Rumors, Erasers and Hi. Ok, Sorry, on Friday 3 August. Hip Hop artist Sowdy starts the weekend off right with his release party for Leonidas at Jack Rabbit Slims on Friday 3 August. Deathcore band Harrow release their EP Sever The Blessed at The Boston with Owed To Damnation and Displacement, on Saturday 4 August. Start your weekend early and come down and hear the surf rock ‘n roll sounds of Pretty Uglys at their single release of Yellow Tremolo, at The Rosemount on Thursday 9 August.
