►Stepping out from his role as frontman/guitarist with Perth indie-surf-rockers Stillwater Giants, Henry Clarke aka Duncan Saige launches his debut EP on Thursday 14 at Prince of Wales, Bunbury, supported by Luke Fox
► Perth’s heavy folk-influenced melodic death metal band Claim The Throne deliver their epic fourth full-length album on Wednesday September 13 at Four5Nine. Two new music videos will also be playing on the projector screen, with special guests to be announced.
►A truly spectacular union, punk/post-hardcore/emo/garage band Shit Narnia and dreamy alternative garagers Childsaint have combined forces to create and launch a split 7″ at Mojo’s on Saturday 16 September, joined by Emlyn Johnson and Marlinspike.
► Country blues and ragtime jug band Jook Joint Band launch their third album Shake That Thing at Swallow Bar on Sunday 17 September, Rodney’s Bait & Tackle on Friday 29 September, and The National Hotel on Sunday 15 October.
► Perth metal outfit Make Them Suffer have announced tour dates in support of their brand new album; Worlds Apartworld, and are bringing along American heavy hitters Wage War and Melbourne maniacs Alpha Wolf to the Rosemount Sunday 24 September.
► 2017 WAM Song of the Year experimental category winners Intenso launch their new album The Slow Cataclysm of Neglect at Bar 459 on Wednesday 27 September, supported by Akioka, FEELS (DJ Set) and Alex and Yell.
► Pop/Folk artists Hugh Jennings and Elk Bell team up to launch albums respectively for HOUND and Republica d’fantAsia on Friday 29 September at Fly By Night Musicians Club, with support from The Belle Ends.
► Winners of Best Punk/Hardcore Act WAMAward two years in a row Scalphunter launch their debut album Lies at Prince of Wales, Bunbury on Friday 6 October with Nerdlinger, The Lizards and Naked Wizard, and Babushka on Saturday 7 October at Punktoberfest with a massive line-up.
►Country soul blues artist Emily Barker is now based in London but returns home to launch her latest album Sweet Kind of Blue at The Bird on Saturday 7 October with Joel Barker and the Low Company and Jere Sosa, plus Friday 6 October at The Warehouse in Bunbury.
► On Friday 13 October, pop rock singer songwriter Josh Johnstone will be launching his EP with the band at the Flytrap, Fly By Night.
► WAM Best Country Act nominee Belle Harvey launches Something Of Myself at The Basso on Saturday 14 October, with support from The Little Lord Street Band, Rose Parker Trio, Delilah Rose and the Gunslingers and DJ Gidget Duck.
► Alt-country rock five piece The Little Lord Street Band launch their latest single Maybe I’m Just In Love, performing at a heap of shows from Saturday 14 October to 11 November including WAMFest and Beauvine Festival, and supporting the likes of Bell Harvey, Ralway Bell and more.
