WAM Member Spotlight: Jon Clements runner-up in Glen Hansard’s “Wreckless Heart” Video Search
This is a WAM Member Spotlight – celebrating achievements of WAM’s incredible members.
This weeks WAM Member Spotlight features Jon Clements who has been announced as a runner-up in Academy and Grammy award winning Irish singer-songwriter Glen Hansard’s (Once, The Commitments) “Wreckless Heart” Music Video Search. This search gave entrants the chance to create an official music video for the track, gain worldwide exposure for their work and receive $2,000 USD cash.

Shot in a Janurary afternoon at the Conspicuous Cliff Beach in Walpole, WA, the video features Perth’s R&B/Soul artist Claudio fighting and karate-chopping the Southern Ocean for “what seemed like hours”, and was made with the help of Jon’s incredible brother-in-arms Aaron Malone, who colour edited the video.
