HyperFest 2018 announced

21 Aug

Perth’s leading drug, smoke and alcohol-free all ages music festival, HyperFest, is set to touch down at Midland Oval on Saturday 24 February 2018 on the tail of a hugely successful turnout in 2017.

City of Swan Mayor Mick Wainwright said last year’s event saw 3,500 people converge on Midland Oval to check out over 66 incredible artists across four live stages and a huge silent disco.

All Western Australian bands and DJs are encouraged to sign up to apply for their spot on the 2018 HyperFest line-up before November 5 via www.hyperfest.com.au.

“Last year’s line-up showcased a host of talented artists, including Amy Shark, Allday, Hands Like Houses, Asta, Ocean Grove, Rag n’ Bone and many more,” he said. “The highly anticipated line-up for the 2018 event is set to be announced this November.”

The 2018 event is set to feature two live main stages, an additional chill-out stage, gourmet food vans, water-based activities such as water slides and a dunk tank, a climbing wall and other attractions, games and merchandise. There will also be a tent for signing to give fans the chance to meet their favourite artists.

HyperFest will take over Midland Oval on Saturday 24 February from 12-9pm.
