Fairbridge’s The Quest Writing Workshops on sale & prizes announced

Bookings for Fairbridge Festival’s youth song-writing competition workshops are now open with facilitators Andrew Winton, Roly Skender and Alexander Turner.

The workshops provide wanna-be entrants with some great hints and tips on honing their songs for entry. Places can be reserved through trybooking.comĀ  for the following workshops:

Jan 23, 10am – 2pm: Mandurah Performing Arts Centre
Feb 13, 8:30am – 12:30pm: Zenith Music, Claremont
Feb 20, 8:30am – 12:30pm: Zenith Music, Claremont



Fairbridge Quest is a fantastic opportunity for the wealth of young songwriting talent we have in our great state to shine by being given the chance to win a stonking range of prizes including Fairbridge Festival live performance, John Butler Studio recording session voucher, HK Photography professional photoshoot and a ProCopy CD copying voucher, plus WAM will provide free Song Of The Year entries and a WA Music Conference ticket!

The competition will have four winners across two age groups (12-15 and 16-18) and two creative categories: Song: craft and Song: performance.

The Fairbridge Quest songwriting competition final at MosArts Camelot Theatre in Mosman Park has sold out in the last two years, so they’ve released tickets early which are available online here.
