City of Perth Winter Arts Season presents The Lodge @ 140 & Lunchtime Concert series

Tuesday 27 June - Saturday 22 July Various

The Lodge @ 140 + Near Petition, Perth

Audience: All Ages

Over the cold winter months, wouldn’t it be nice to cosy up within a ski lodge, but in the middle of the CBD? Luckily The Lodge @ 140 is the perfect break from those office blues. A holiday from the everyday, this warm and comfy lounge offers a mixture of musical performances, second-hand book exchanges, board games and specials for your delight.

There’ll even be a crochet workshop put together by Phil Ferguson aka ChiliPhilly. He’ll share his passion for crochet hats with craft lovers, revealing the secrets behind his success during a free workshop on 1 July.

Come down to The Lodge@140 and enjoy a range of activities including:

  • Daily acoustic performances from local artists at noon and 5pm
  • A selection of free board games
  • SMS coffee and muffin orders from East Village
  • Communal dining spaces to enjoy food from the 140 retailers, plus cosy corners to curl up with a book

Keep your eyes peeled on our social media via @CityofPerth for what’s in store, and check this timetable of artists playing in rest of July:

Not enough free music for you? Well lunch times couldn’t get any better than with live music in the David Malcolm Justice Centre Plaza, also as part of the #WinterArtsSeason.

Every Friday in June and July, listen to the jazz infused sounds of harpist Michelle Smith and WAM fave DJ Charlie Bucket as they put together mesmerizing soulful sets, using a 47 string Concert Grand Harp like you’ve never heard before!
