WA’s premier music conference WAMCon is returning to the State Theatre Centre of WA on Friday 26Saturday 27 March as part of WA Music Week presented by Act Belong Commit!

We’re taking WAMCon to new levels in 2021 with a hybrid in-person and digital format enabling attendees from all corners of the state to engage with the career-bolstering opportunity.
This year’s conference features a carefully curated program of in-person and digitally streamed panels, presentations, and networking activities, providing an accessible opportunity for the home-grown industry to learn, engage and interact with the wider music sector.

The first WAMCon reveal boasts an impressive and diverse selection of local, national and international industry speakers, including;

Bruce Pavitt (Sub Pop Records and 8Stem Interactive Music co-founder) US
Professor Susan Rogers (Berklee College of Music Professor and multi-platinum-earning record producer) US
Zaachariaha Fielding and Michael Ross of Electric Fields, SA
Cherie Hu (Water & Music Publisher and Founder) US

Plus! International and national booking agents and industry representatives from Spotify Australia, Listen Up Music, New World Artists, Australian Council for the Arts and more

Due to COVID restrictions the venue requires in person attendees to register for reserved seating, which will be offered via a direct email to registered WAMCon attendees closer to the event. If you wish to sit with friends/colleagues at the event please book your tickets in a group so we can allocate you a group of seats together (a maximum of 5 tickets can be purchased for a group). Tickets bought as single tickets will only be allowed to reserve a single seat with social distancing either side. We apologise for the inconvenience and will be assessing this requirement closer to the event day in consultation with the venue.
