It’s tax time, and we’re bringing in the experts for an assist.
Join APRA AMCOS and WAM for a practical session aimed at helping you manage the business side of things. We’ll be talking publicity campaigns too and how to factor those in to your music and financial strategy.
On hand to take you through the wild world of tax and accounting is cash whisperer Kylie Thompson and tackling the publicity side of things is festival extraordinaire Simon ‘Skinny’ O’Leary.
Kylie Thompson is the founder of Sorrento Strategic Music, which specialises in accounting services for the arts and entertainment industries. With 25 years’ experience in music accounting, Kylie’s clients include some of WA’s finest musos, such as – John Butler, Abbe May and Stella Donnelly. Kylie’s unparalleled knowledge of music industry tax and global touring, makes her one of WA’s foremost experts on music accountancy.
Kylie will walk through topics such as how to manage your cashflow and prepare your tax return.
Simon ‘Skinny’ O Leary
